Wemade's Mir4 Surpasses 800,000 Concurrent Users
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Wemade announced on the 14th that the simultaneous number of users connected to the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Mir4' has surpassed 800,000.
According to Wemade, previously 'Legend of Mir 2' also recorded 800,000 simultaneous users for the first time in the world in 2005, earning a place in the Guinness Book of Records and becoming a national game in China.
Wemade has entered a new golden age surpassing the success of Legend of Mir 2 with Mir4.
Mir4 is a global game released by Wemade in over 170 countries worldwide in 12 languages, including South Korea. In particular, the global version allows users to experience blockchain technology through the utility coin 'Draco' and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The number of Mir4 users has recently increased rapidly, leading to the number of servers exceeding 100. Currently, a total of 136 servers are operated: 64 in Asia, 6 in India, 13 in Europe, 21 in South America, and 32 in North America.
