Jokuk, Yoon Seok-yeol's Palm Shows King Character... "Thought It Was Mugol (Martial Bone), But It's Mugol (Shaman Bone)"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seoyoung Kwon] Former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk posted a message targeting Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party presidential candidate, who sparked controversy by writing the character for "king" (王) on his palm.
On the 2nd, Cho posted on his Facebook, "A presidential candidate appeared with the mark of 'king' on the palm in the process of electing the sovereign's representative in a democratic republic," adding, "He was rumored to be Mugol (武骨), but it turns out he was Mugol (巫骨)." This is a play on words replacing the character for strong warrior (武) with the character for shaman (巫), interpreted as a jab at Yoon.
Earlier, on the 1st, during the 5th broadcast debate of the People Power Party's presidential primary, Yoon was caught writing the character for king (王) on his palm while exchanging arguments with other candidates, causing a stir. The ruling party criticized this as possibly having astrological implications, but Yoon explained that a supporter had drawn it on his palm as a gesture of encouragement.

In his Facebook post that day, Cho wrote, "According to the camp's explanation, a supporter wrote the character 'king' on his palm just before the 3rd to 5th debates," and questioned, "Who is this supporter?" and "Will this supporter appear again just before the upcoming 6th debate? Is it the same person as the supporter from the 3rd to 5th debates?"

He continued, "More importantly, Yoon did not stop this supporter’s actions on three occasions and willingly showed his palm," sarcastically adding.
