POSCO International Launches Expansion into Global Markets for Mid-sized Enterprises
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] POSCO International announced on the 30th that it signed a "Business Agreement to Strengthen Cooperation with Mid-sized Companies" with the Korea Federation of Mid-sized Enterprises at the Mid-sized Enterprises Federation office in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Through this agreement, both parties agreed to mutually cooperate in sharing overseas market information, discovering and matching new business partners, sharing know-how related to government support projects, and planning investments for mid-sized companies utilizing policies and institutional funds.
POSCO International explained that through the agreement with the Mid-sized Enterprises Federation, it aims to establish a win-win business with mid-sized companies and also expects to develop new global business models with competitive mid-sized companies.
Starting next month, they plan to jointly pioneer overseas markets by combining demand surveys and business information of promising mid-sized companies provided by the Mid-sized Enterprises Federation with POSCO International’s global network.

Lee Yuchang, Head of the Corporate Citizenship Office at POSCO International, stated, “Through this agreement, we will support collaboration with mid-sized companies that possess excellent technology but have no experience in overseas exports or face difficulties in expanding into global markets.”
