The 3rd Marine Engineer Exam Held Over 4 Days in 12 Regions... 3,200 Candidates Participate
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced on the 2nd that the 3rd Regular Maritime Officer Examination of 2021 will be held on the 4th in 12 cities and provinces nationwide.
The exam will be conducted for all license grades, including levels 1 to 6 and small vessel operators. It will take place simultaneously at 12 test centers nationwide, including Busan, Incheon, Mokpo, and Masan. Approximately 3,200 candidates are expected to take the exam.
The Ministry plans to conduct 11 additional exams by the end of the year, including 3,000 regular exams and 200 small-scale on-demand exams. Previously, from January to last month, a total of 12,000 candidates took two regular exams and 20 on-demand exams.
