On the same day, Kang said on her Facebook, "It is shocking that former Minister Choo publicly revealed, 'I have heard about the Julie allegations,' bringing the issue to the surface."
She added, "I was startled while watching the news. I wondered, what exactly is 'Julie'?" and pointed out, "I cannot understand why citizens have to listen to stories about a presidential candidate's spouse's past job, what stage name they used, or who they were involved with in the past."
She continued, "I think the insinuation that another candidate's wife is 'not clean' is even more disgusting," and criticized, "Former Minister Choo spoke about 'true feminism' yesterday, but raising sexual allegations about someone's past when attacking women is an outdated and typical method."
Earlier, in an interview with YTN Radio's 'Hwang Bo-seon's Start of a New Morning,' former Minister Choo responded to the host's question, "Have you heard of a person named Julie?" by saying, "I have heard of her. Being a presidential candidate means not only the candidate but also their family, relatives, and friends must all be clean."
Kang said, "Yesterday, former Prosecutor General Yoon's presidential campaign speech was completely hollow. I don't understand why he wants to become president, and I think it is inappropriate for a prosecutor general to jump straight into the presidential race," but added, "However, it seems the Democratic Party will just hand over a comeback card to raise former Prosecutor General Yoon's approval ratings again. The more they engage in this kind of low-level attack, the more it harms the attackers and benefits the recipients."

Regarding this, Kim strongly denied the allegations in an interview with a media outlet, saying, "I have two master's degrees, a doctorate, I lecture at a university, and I am busy with business. Even if I wanted to be 'Julie,' I don't have the time. I have no reason whatsoever to be 'Julie.'"
