Interpark Launches AI-Powered Independent Travel Planning Platform
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Interpark Tour announced on the 21st that it has launched the open beta service of its AI engine-based free travel platform, ‘Yeohaeng Gyehoek (tentative name)’.
The Yeohaeng Gyehoek service is designed to automatically provide detailed, one-stop itineraries for free travel in the desired format and help customers conveniently purchase related products.
This service is located in the ‘Yeohaeng Gyehoek’ tab at the top of the Interpark Tour app’s home screen. Users can access it by entering the name of the city they want to travel to in the tab.
After selecting the desired city, users are directed to a calendar screen where they can enter their planned itinerary. If planning a ‘multi-city’ trip with two or more cities, users can either select multiple cities from the start or enter the itinerary for one city first and then add additional cities and schedules in the same order.
After the input process, the AI engine shows the optimal combination of algorithms with flights, accommodations, and recommended daily itineraries displayed on a map with detailed travel routes. The core feature is providing a one-stop service in a simple way that allows users to scroll down through the itinerary in order and view everything at a glance.
The estimated cost according to the travel plan can also be checked immediately by clicking the right tab. The total estimated amount is shown collectively, and related recommended products such as flights, hotels, and activities can be paid for separately. Integrated booking and shopping cart functions will be added later.
