Ministry Targets Japanese Tourists During Golden Week with Korea Promotion in Fukuoka
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is holding the 'K-Tourism Roadshow' in Fukuoka, Japan, to attract Japanese tourists to Korea. The ministry announced that it will host the 'K-Tourism Roadshow' in Fukuoka on April 30, coinciding with Japan's Golden Week. This event follows local promotional activities in Osaka (May 9) and Tokyo (May 10-12). The event will be held under the theme "Shall We Go Today? Korea!" and aims to highlight Korea as a travel destination that Japanese tourists can visit with ease. The program will feature a performance by singer and actor Hwang Minhyun, as well as a Korea tourism talk show. In addition, a variety of promotional booths will operate under the theme "Experience Korea in Advance from Fukuoka." Local governments such as Busan and Jeju, airlines including Air Busan and Jin Air, and companies in the food and cosmetics sectors will be present to introduce Korean travel content.
