Krafton Acquires Game Developer 'DreamMotion'
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Krafton announced on the 13th that it will acquire the game developer Dreamotion.
Once the acquisition process is completed, Dreamotion will become one of Krafton's independent studios.
Dreamotion is the company that developed games such as 'Ronin: The Last Samurai.'
Krafton plans to further strengthen its global market strategy through the acquisition of Dreamotion.
To acquire Dreamotion, Krafton disposed of 25,342 of its own shares (worth approximately 11.15048 billion KRW) on the same day.
Kang Changhan, CEO of Krafton, said, "We believe Dreamotion's passion, demonstrated through quickly delivering various games and proving creativity and production capabilities, aligns with Krafton's vision," adding, "We will support their continuous growth as an independent studio."

Krafton currently consists of independent studios such as PUBG Studio, Bluehole Studio, RisingWings, and Striking Distance Studio.
