Inspection of Quarantine Sites and Employee Encouragement on the 18th
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Jang Seok-young, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, visited Gangnam Post Office on the 18th to inspect the quarantine site in preparation for COVID-19 infection and to encourage the staff.
Gangnam Post Office, located on Gaepo-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, employs about 700 staff members, including 368 delivery workers. The average daily mail volume is approximately 38,000 pieces, with about 540 visitors daily.
The Gangnam Post Office of the Korea Post Headquarters is thoroughly checking compliance with quarantine rules, such as appointing its own quarantine manager, wearing masks during work, and operating an online integrated situation room, due to concerns about the resurgence of COVID-19.
