'Revitalization of Station Area' Junjugeo Area Adjacent to Sillim Line 110 Station Changed to Neighborhood Commercial Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] The quasi-residential area adjacent to the tentatively named 'Sillim110 Station' on the Sillim Line light rail, scheduled to open next year, will be changed to a neighborhood commercial area.
On the 17th, Seoul City held an urban planning committee meeting and conditionally approved a proposal to change the land use zone for the Sillim-dong 110-10 station area revitalization project in Gwanak-gu, which includes this change, the city announced on the 18th.
A city official explained, "Considering the characteristics of the Sillim Line 110 Station area, where many young people live, we have established a plan where young people's living spaces, workplaces, and resting places can coexist."
The final decision and announcement will be made after a review by the joint urban and architectural committee on the district unit plan decision proposal.

Accordingly, among the five pilot project sites for station area revitalization, three, including Gongneung Station and Hongdae Ipgu Station, have passed the urban planning committee. The urban management plan proposal and decision procedures are underway for the areas near Banghak Station and Boramae Station.
