KAMCO to Auction 638 Buildings Worth 46.6 Billion Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) will auction 638 buildings worth 46.6 billion KRW, including 85 residential buildings, over three days starting from the 22nd.
The items for sale are properties entrusted to KAMCO for auction by public institutions such as tax offices and local governments to collect overdue taxes. Among them, 186 items are priced at 70% or less of the appraised value.
However, bidders should pay attention to rights analysis during the auction, and buyers are responsible for evicting tenants, so caution is required. Additionally, the auction may be canceled before bidding due to reasons such as tax payment or inability to deliver notices.
