[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kim Young-seop, CEO of LG CNS, forecasted that customer demand for digital transformation (DX) will increase this year and urged proactive and thorough responses.
In a New Year's message sent to employees on the 4th, Kim diagnosed that the current crisis, including the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), has become an opportunity for companies that were well-prepared for DX.
Kim stated, "Although the importance of DX has grown, we must address the pain points of customers who have not found clear solutions to promote DX."
He added, "Collaboration with specialized and technology companies is essential to keep up with the pace of technological advancement," emphasizing, "Leading practical and meaningful collaboration is also a capability and competitiveness that must be established."
Kim said, "LG CNS has strengths in creating new services by integrating various technologies," and continued, "Maximizing this to expand various service-type businesses and through full-scale innovation of business models, new attempts are needed to go beyond 'order-based business' to create markets independently and expand core businesses."
