YouTuber Gukgabi Sent to Prosecution with Charges for 'Birthday Party During Self-Quarantine'
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] YouTuber Gukga-bi (real name Gukga Briella), who held a birthday party with acquaintances during the self-quarantine period after entering the country, has been referred to the prosecution on charges of violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
On the 28th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent Gukga-bi to the prosecution without detention, with an opinion to indict for violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.

The Mapo-gu Public Health Center in Seoul requested the police to investigate whether Gukga-bi violated self-quarantine rules. The police judged that her actions constituted a violation of the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act. A police official stated, "According to the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act, self-quarantine requires being isolated from the outside, so inviting others to your home also constitutes a violation."
