View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Hansung University will select 304 students through regular admissions. The educational system has been changed from a department system to a major track system. All undergraduate programs and detailed majors are unified under major tracks without boundaries. Students can freely choose majors that suit their aptitude without any restrictions, even without distinguishing between humanities and sciences, until graduation.
Students can freely select 2 tracks out of 51 and can change them until graduation. The first year is a period to explore majors and build a foundation for convergence education. After taking basic track and convergence courses and liberal arts courses, students choose their 1st and 2nd tracks upon entering the second year and complete advanced and convergence major curricula accordingly.
The main recruitment unit, the College of Imaginative Talent, is an autonomous major college. Students can enter without distinction of college, department, or major, and freely choose their college and major when advancing to the second year.
The College of Imaginative Talent recruits daytime students in Group A and evening students in Group D. The selection is based 100% on the CSAT, reflecting Korean 40% or 20%, Math 40% or 20%, English 25%, and one subject in Inquiry 15%. For Math, 10 bonus points are awarded to those who took the advanced type.
The ICT Design Department recruits daytime students in Group D. The selection method is the same as the College of Imaginative Talent, based 100% on the CSAT. The College of Arts, which selects 60% by practical skills, reflects Korean 40%, English 40%, and one subject in Inquiry 20% only.
Admission results, competition rates, and additional acceptance status are provided in detail on the Hansung University Admissions Office website. This year, a '2021 Regular Admission Guide Video' has been produced to easily deliver information.
Students within the 3rd income quintile will receive 100% full tuition support. For families with multiple children, multicultural families, and siblings, up to 1 million KRW per semester in tuition can be received.
