Jugeumgong Recommends Measures to Implement National Rights Protection and Fair Contract Pledge System
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Audit Office of Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC) announced on the 23rd that it actively recommended measures such as protecting citizens' rights and establishing an implementation plan for the Fair Contract Pledge System through consulting audits.
In October, the KHFC Audit Office conducted consulting audits targeting all departments to propose alternatives that can realize social values such as fulfilling the corporation's social responsibilities and protecting citizens' rights.
Through this audit, the office recommended improvements including ▲operating the Fair Contract Pledge System to protect contracting parties ▲establishing a specialized digital service contract procedure for co-growth with small and medium enterprises ▲appointing a safety and health general manager and mandating safety education to ensure a safe working environment for contractors ▲providing special leave for employees experiencing spouse miscarriage or stillbirth to support work-family balance. The relevant departments plan to reflect these recommendations through internal regulation revisions going forward.
