View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 18th that it has donated funds to support vulnerable groups in Daejeon Daedeok-gu and Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, areas struggling with daily life due to the nationwide spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 14th, 10 million KRW was donated to Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, and on the 17th, 10 million KRW was donated to vulnerable groups in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, to help them have a warm winter. The donated funds will be used to purchase briquettes for low-income households in the region.

Previously, Hankook Tire donated 80 million KRW to Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, for the early end and prevention of COVID-19 and conducted emergency disinfection volunteer work at multi-use facilities. In Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, it donated 50 million KRW and an additional 40 million KRW for emergency flood recovery funds. It has also provided 30 million KRW to Chungcheongnam-do and 20 million KRW to Taean-gun, Chungnam, as emergency COVID-19 support funds, engaging in community-based social contribution activities.
