View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized the Moon Jae-in administration on the 29th, saying, "The way they handle affairs itself does not meet the legality requirements demanded by a liberal democratic country. It is a kind of cultural lag phenomenon."
On the same day, Professor Jin wrote on his Facebook, "As has already been pointed out somewhere, it is because of the 'style of work,'" adding, "In short, the Blue House operates like a student council from the old Jeondaehyup days."
Professor Jin pointed out, "The problem lies with the Blue House. Already, a dozen or so people including senior secretaries, secretaries, administrative officers, and investigators have been indicted," and said, "At this level, it is a total collapse. It is not an individual's problem but a collective tendency."
He continued, "If you push things unofficially through non-official or private channels instead of following official procedures and handling matters legally, trouble is bound to happen," and criticized, "In the case of Wolseong Unit 1, if it could have operated for one or two more years, it would have been fine to wait and then stop it. But because the president said a single word, such chaos ensued."
He added, "Then, when problems arise, they attack the head of the Board of Audit and Inspection to stop audits and attack the Prosecutor General to stop investigations. But the country has a 'system,' so is that a reasonable demand?" and claimed, "Therefore, they are trying to completely disable the national system itself by using the same method again."

They changed the inspection committee from a mandatory clause to a discretionary one because procedural legitimacy might be an issue, didn't they?"
"To create grounds for discipline, they had to forcibly request an investigation of the Prosecutor General, so they had no choice but to fabricate reports. Everything is done this way," he said.
Professor Jin stated, "The important thing is that the liberal democratic system our society has painstakingly built is being destroyed by their 1980s-style activist work style that mocks due process," and added, "The country is being run not by law but by whatever they feel like. The rule of law has collapsed."
He continued, "The biggest problem is that they don't even know why this is a problem," and pointed out, "Whenever an incident occurs, they try to stir up the public by framing it as 'all conspiracies by native Japanese collaborators and conservative corrupt forces' to break through."

He then said, "Ultimately, the president is the problem. I don't think these illegal acts are committed in collusion with the president," and added, "The Blue House power brokers make the president a figurehead and monopolize state affairs among themselves. (The president) actually knows everything but takes a stance of pretending not to know, officially distancing himself from those matters."
