"Check 'Self-Diagnosis' Before Visiting LG Phone AS Center"
Starting with LG Wing... Expanded to 9 Models Including Velvet
Battery and Heat Diagnosis Available in Quick Help App
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] LG Electronics is launching a self-diagnosis service to enable smartphone users to quickly address inconveniences such as battery issues or overheating during device use.
On the 12th, LG Electronics will provide the self-diagnosis service to LG Wing users. By early next year, the supported models will be expanded to nine products including Velvet, G7, G8, V35, V40, V50, V50S, Q92, and Q52.
To use the self-diagnosis service, users simply press 'Diagnose' in the Quick Help application and send their usage records. This service utilizes technologies such as big data-based analysis and automatic diagnosis.
When users send smartphone function check data through Quick Help, the data is analyzed based on big data to inspect nine items including battery abnormalities and network issues. After the inspection, the diagnosis results and management methods are suggested, allowing users to maintain their devices in optimal condition by themselves.
The smartphone self-diagnosis service provides information at the same level as the phone inspection system used by repair technicians at actual LG Electronics service centers. It is convenient for customers who find it difficult to visit service centers to perform checks regardless of location and time.
LG Electronics is actively collecting feedback centered on Quick Help, the LG smartphone customer community. Since August, to gather opinions from more customers, the Quick Help supported products have been expanded to include budget models, and a PC version of Quick Help is planned to be introduced in the first half of next year.
