Uroxe Diesel Exhaust Fluid, Joint Promotion with Vehicle Management App 'Mycle'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] EUROX, the number one domestic DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) seller for 12 consecutive years (based on Ministry of Environment data), announced a joint promotion with the vehicle management app 'MyCar' (operated by Macaron Factory Co., Ltd.).
EUROX is conducting joint advertisements with MyCar on Facebook, Google, and Instagram targeting diesel vehicle owners who use DEF. They are running a promotion until the end of this year that offers special benefits when purchasing the EUROX Premium 3.5ℓ product within the MyCar app. MyCar is an O2O (Online to Offline) vehicle management platform that allows users to check their car information at a glance, such as fuel efficiency and consumable replacement cycles, and make reservations at nearby repair shops and car washes.
According to Macaron Factory, the operator of MyCar, over 1.9 million users have registered more than 70 million vehicle management data entries. Notably, MyCar provides a 'Connected Car Integration Service' that automatically collects real-time vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and other information without customers manually entering their car logs, utilizing the open data platform ambitiously launched by Hyundai Motor Group last October.
A representative from Lotte Fine Chemical stated, "Conducting customized promotions for DEF users based on MyCar's vehicle data benefits both customers and the company." They added, "Through collaboration with MyCar, which implements Hyundai and Kia's connected car integration services, we plan to explore various initiatives such as analyzing DEF consumption in real time and providing services that guide users to nearby EUROX sales points when DEF refilling is needed."
