Pianist Baek Geon-woo and Conductor Jeong Chi-yong Collaborate on Beethoven Piano Concertos No. 2 and 4
On November 14 at Lotte Concert Hall
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Pianist Baek Geon-woo will perform Beethoven's Piano Concertos No. 2 and No. 4 in collaboration with conductor Jeong Chi-yong.
This year marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), who was born in Bonn, Germany in 1770. Baek Geon-woo and Jeong Chi-yong, together with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, will reflect on Beethoven's life and convey the messages he intended to pass on through his music in this performance.
In addition to Beethoven's Piano Concertos No. 2 and No. 4, Beethoven's Coriolan Overture and The Creatures of Prometheus Overture will also be performed.
