Volvo Unveils Limited Edition 'Untact Hey Plogging' Package
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Volvo Cars Korea announced that it will unveil a limited edition package and begin pre-orders ahead of the main event of the eco-friendly social contribution campaign, '2020 Untact Hey, Plogging.'
Plogging is a campaign combining the Swedish word 'Plocka Upp' (to pick up) and the English word 'Jogging,' where participants enjoy running while picking up trash. The '2020 Untact Hey, Plogging' limited edition package will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis with 2,020 units available through the HeyPlogging website until the 18th.
The package consists of items worth approximately 200,000 KRW, including a jacket from Samsung C&T Fashion Division’s running brand ‘Brooks Running,’ plogging gloves, a reusable plogging bag, and a wooden medal made with bamboo fiber strings. The limited edition package is priced at 20,000 KRW, and all proceeds will be donated in the purchaser’s name to the Environmental Foundation to raise awareness about disposable waste issues and support environmental campaigns for proper disposal of disposable masks.
Additional prize events have also been prepared. Among applicants, winners will be selected by lottery to receive ▲ Paradise City Hotel 2-person accommodation voucher (1 winner) ▲ Helinox table (2 winners) ▲ Garmin smartwatch (3 winners) ▲ Helinox chair (4 winners) ▲ Sudio earbuds (5 winners). Winners will be announced individually on the 21st of this month.

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea has converted all printed materials used for customer communication in all showrooms and service centers to digital platforms to participate in the climate neutrality action plan. Additionally, as part of the UN Environment Programme’s global 'Clean Seas' campaign, supported worldwide, the company has completely stopped using disposable plastics in offices, all event venues, showrooms, and service centers, and is using biodegradable eco-friendly materials.
