On the 17th, Kim posted on his Facebook, questioning, "Since when did the Korean police care about other people's health?" and shared a video showing a confrontation with police officers.
In the video, Kim shouted at the police officers requesting a COVID-19 test, saying, "I am Kim Moon-soo, so why are you telling me to go?" and "What do you take me for?" while refusing the test.
The police explained, "(The elderly woman accompanying him) may or may not be a confirmed case, but since she violated self-quarantine, she is subject to forced detention. Because (Kim) was with her, we suggested that if they were willing to go together for their health, they should."
Kim then protested, "Since when did the Korean police care about other people's health? I have been a member of the National Assembly three times."
