[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People’s Party, criticized the Moon Jae-in administration as having a "gangster culture" and on the 17th called it "unfilial" for passing on the growing national debt to the next generation.
In an interview with the Chosun Ilbo that day, Ahn said, "The Moon administration distributed cash to the people to boost approval ratings and win elections."
He criticized, "President Moon and the pro-Moon mainstream faction treat their hardcore supporters like slaves, using them to pressure the opposing camp and glorifying them with expressions like 'seasoning,' preventing them from waking up from their illusions."
When asked, "Do you consider the Moon administration’s supporters to be in a 'slave state'?" Ahn replied, "When people support a political force, they want it to represent their interests. But the opposite is happening under the current administration," adding, "Those who should be the masters have become slaves without realizing it and are being mobilized for the Moon administration’s benefit."
He continued, "Moreover, since words and actions change 180 degrees depending on the past and present, time and place, the entire nation and society are being forced into a state of mental illness," strongly criticizing the Moon administration by asking, "Can anyone with a sound mind accept their behavior?"

Earlier, Ahn had defined the Moon administration’s behavior as a "gangster culture."
In a dialogue with former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon on his YouTube channel, he said, "Watching the Cho Kuk incident reminded me of gangster culture. The government and ruling party judge everything not by right or wrong but by whether it is our side or the opposing side."
In response, former professor Jin also said, "Politicians should act to please voters, but instead, voters went to Seocho-dong and said 'We love you,' which made me think the principles of democracy were overturned," pointing out, "It seems like the phenomenon of serfs exploited in the feudal era giving to their masters and lords."

Ahn emphasized, "Supporters fighting for politicians’ interests have unknowingly become slaves to politicians. Politicians are merely tools representing the people’s interests. No matter how much I support a party or politician, I must say what is wrong is wrong."
