The Customized Welfare Team of Jeonggwan-eup Administrative Welfare Center held a launching ceremony for the vulnerable group side dish support project on the 12th and announced on the 16th that the main project has started.
The side dish support project is a specialized project conducted by the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council as part of the '2020 Light·Water·Dream Hope Lighthouse Sharing Project.'
The Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council and the Jeonggwan-eup Customized Welfare Team, together with the Gijang Regional Self-Support Center Side Dish Business Group, provide side dishes twice a month to residents at risk of food insecurity.
They selected 31 households through discovering welfare blind spots and support the cost of side dish ingredients, and the Gijang Regional Self-Support Center The Doi Side Dish Business Group manufactures the side dishes and delivers them to the recipients twice a month.
After the end of COVID-19, members of the Jeonggwan-eup Community Security Council, who play a role as a social safety net, and the Jeonggwan-eup Customized Welfare Team will directly deliver side dishes to the recipients.
