[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] A college entrance briefing session for out-of-school youth for the 2021 academic year will be held.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 13th that from August, customized information will be provided at 16 out-of-school youth support centers (Kkumdeulim Centers) nationwide.
The instructors will mainly consist of teachers affiliated with local education offices, providing information on major college entrance screening details, special admissions and department introductions for those who passed the qualification exam, and universities accepting early admission applications.
The briefing sessions will be conducted in various online and offline formats. In each region, they may be held as online 1:1 consultations or online fairs, while cities such as Busan, Incheon, and Gwangju plan to hold offline briefings and 1:1 consultations. Gyeonggi-do will also provide real-time online broadcasts. Some programs are on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is recommended.
