The selected schools are Gyeonggi Buk Science High School, Gyeongbuk Science High School, Sejong Science High School, Incheon Science High School, Incheon Jinsan Science High School, Hanseong Science High School, Gwangju Science High School, Daejeon Science High School, Sejong Science and Arts Gifted School, and Incheon Science and Arts Gifted School.

Daejeon Science High School will develop a model for customized education by diagnosing learning levels through big data-based student information analysis and designing personalized education. Sejong Science High School will promote convertible and hybrid learning that freely crosses between online and offline education as needed. Hanseong Science High School will open in-depth lectures on detailed subjects that were difficult due to lack of demand at the individual school level, sharing them with other schools using MOOCs and edutech. It will also conduct continuous online conferences between students and overseas science and engineering experts.


The Ministry of Science and ICT plans to share the best practices of the leading schools with general schools through a performance exchange meeting at the end of this year. Through this, it aims to lay the foundation for solidifying universal math and science education for students in general schools.
