Hyundai Kia Motors Supports Searching for Small Business 'Baeknyeon Gage' on Navigation Systems
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Kia Motors has started supporting small business owners struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) by updating 'Baeknyeon Gage' selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups on their navigation systems.
On the 21st, Hyundai Kia Motors announced that it will load information about selected businesses from the 'Baeknyeon Gage Development Project' led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs) into its navigation update service and provide it to customers. The 'Baeknyeon Gage Development Project' is a program conducted by the Ministry of SMEs since 2018 to discover small business owners with over 30 years of operation and nurture them to sustain and grow for more than 100 years.
Through this support, Hyundai Kia Motors plans to provide a search service that displays selected businesses on the search results screen when 'Baeknyeon Gage' is searched on the navigation system, and to promote the stores and encourage customer use by marking the Baeknyeon Gage logo and the location information of the businesses on the map.
A Hyundai Kia Motors official said, "By reflecting the information of businesses selected as Baeknyeon Gage on the navigation system, we will provide customers with high-quality information and offer small business owners promotional opportunities to publicize their stores," adding, "We will continue to carry out projects that can demonstrate the value of coexistence in various ways."
