Bang Jun-hyuk Netmarble Chairman Joins Flower Bucket Challenge
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Bang Jun-hyuk, chairman of Netmarble, participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' campaign on the 29th.
The 'Flower Bucket Challenge' is a public relay campaign that started in February to help flower farmers whose sales channels were blocked due to the cancellation of various events caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The campaign proceeds by having the recommended person participate and then nominate the next participant. Previously, Kim Taek-jin, CEO of NCSoft, nominated Chairman Bang as the next participant.
Chairman Bang plans to deliver 200 air-purifying plants and flower pots to 53 local children's centers near the company through the Netmarble Cultural Foundation. In addition, congratulatory flower baskets will be given to employees who got married or had children during the month of May.
Chairman Bang said, "I am honored to be able to convey a small message of support to flower farmers and the local community through this campaign," and added, "I hope the COVID-19 situation will end soon so that South Korea can regain a healthy and peaceful daily life."
