Ministry of Education Provides University Lecturers and Early-Career Researchers with Lifelong Education Institute Teaching Opportunities
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Opportunities to lecture will be provided at university-affiliated lifelong education centers for university lecturers who have lost teaching opportunities or early-career researchers.
The Ministry of Education announced the basic plan for the project on the 14th, establishing the 'University Lifelong Education Center Course Opening Support Project' for the first time this year.
This project will select about 40 universities among general and junior colleges operating lifelong education centers and provide a total of 4.9 billion KRW in support. Selected universities will receive funding for instructor salaries for newly opened lifelong education courses. Lectures can be opened starting from September this year.

Universities wishing to participate must submit their project plans to the National Institute for Lifelong Education either in person or by mail from 10 a.m. on the 15th until 5 p.m. on June 5.
