[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Naver announced on the 8th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) to strengthen the personal information protection capabilities of small and medium-sized businesses.
Through this agreement, both parties plan to engage in personal information protection activities for small and medium-sized businesses, including ▲supporting awareness-raising activities to enhance personal information protection capabilities ▲utilizing content and experts in the field of personal information protection ▲sharing information to foster a culture of personal information protection.
Naver intends to eliminate blind spots in personal information protection through its business support network such as 'Partners Square.' KISA will support content and experts related to personal information protection education.
Naver and KISA will conduct personal information protection education targeting small business owners and provide educational content available on the online personal information protection portal through 'Naver Privacy TV.' On June 3rd, an 'Online Live Personal Information Protection Education' session for small business owners by Jin-gyu Lee, Naver's Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), is scheduled to be held at Naver Partners Square.
