Professor Kim Beopmin of Korea University Appointed as Head of Government Medical Device Project Team

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Professor Kim Beopmin of the Department of Bioengineering at Korea University has been appointed as the head of a government project investing 1.2 trillion KRW to develop global-level medical devices.
Korea University announced on the 18th that Professor Kim, who served as the overall director of the Pan-Ministry Full-Cycle Medical Device R&D Project, has been appointed as the project leader.
For the next two years, Professor Kim will be in charge of the Pan-Ministry Medical Device Development Project, which progresses from technology development to product commercialization and clinical approval to develop global-level medical devices.
This project consists of four detailed sub-projects: developing medical devices with global competitiveness, leading the 4th Industrial Revolution and future medical environment, realizing medical public welfare, and strengthening medical device commercialization capabilities.
