BTS "ARIRANG" Tracks Leaked... Agency Requests Subpoena from U.S. Court
Leaked via Social Media Before Official Release
Some content from BTS's fifth studio album, "ARIRANG," was leaked via social media before its official release, prompting the agency to pursue legal action.
According to a report by U.S. music outlet Billboard on the 13th (local time), Big Hit Music (HYBE) has initiated legal proceedings against a user of X (formerly Twitter) who posted "ARIRANG" content without authorization. "ARIRANG" is a 14-track album released on March 20.
The report states that in early March, a user account on X uploaded portions of tracks, lyrics, and images from the album. The posts in question have since been deleted.
