The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) continues to perform strongly this year. Despite the ongoing economic downturn, the KLPGA has managed to host the same number of tournaments as last year, totaling 31 events, and set a new record for total prize money with 34.7 billion won. For the first time ever, every tournament this season will offer prize money of at least 1 billion won. The 2026 season began on March 12 with the Rejuran Championship at Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand, and the domestic opener will be the The Siena Open, which kicks off on April 2.
The key to the success of the domestic women’s tour lies in proactive marketing. For the first time this year, the KLPGA has joined forces with Hyundai Department Store to host the GREEN MASTER FESTA. Starting on March 20 and running through March 29, the event is being held at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. This golf-themed event was planned to mark the opening of the 2026 season and to promote the appeal of the KLPGA and women’s golf to fans and the general public.
The KLPGA has appointed its 18th group of promotional models for the GREEN MASTER FESTA. Through fan signing events and other activities, these models are directly engaging with golf fans. There are also unique attractions for visitors. At a specially designed cabinet-style promotional photo zone, the personal golf equipment and cherished items of the promotional models, such as clubs and golf bags, are displayed alongside pictorial photos. At the KLPGA pop-up store, visitors can discover this year’s newly designed official KLPGA merchandise.
In addition, a variety of content is available, including a golf quiz competition and live band performances. For golf fans visiting the venue, there is a dedicated space to try out golf equipment firsthand. During the event, golf-related products such as apparel, equipment, and accessories are offered at special prices.

Since 2015, it has been running the KLPGA Kids Golf Camp to increase young people’s interest in and enthusiasm for golf. This year, from April to October, a range of programs is planned, including KLPGA tour gallery visits, golf activity experiences, etiquette board making, and a “Golf Golden Bell” quiz competition.
