Supporting ECONavy: Racing Tires Exclusively for Electric Vehicles
Kumho Tire announced on the 12th that it had signed a sponsorship agreement on the 9th to support the Gran Turismo eN1 Class teams and the Kumho N1 Class at the "2026 Hyundai N Festival," the largest one-make (single vehicle model racing) event in Korea.

View original imageThe Gran Turismo eN1 Class is Korea’s first electric vehicle race and the world’s first electric vehicle race to use racing-exclusive slick tires. The Kumho N1 Class is the top tier at the Hyundai N Festival, featuring professional drivers competing in high-performance racing vehicles.
Through this sponsorship, Kumho Tire will provide racing tires to the Kumho SL Motorsport Team, E-Rain Motorsport Team, and WENS Inje Podium Racing Team, ensuring stable operations throughout the event period.
Kumho Tire will also supply its electric vehicle exclusive tire, “ECONavy.” ECONavy uses a dedicated compound for electric vehicles, delivering outstanding grip and stable handling even at high speeds.
In addition, Kumho Tire will exclusively supply racing tires for the Kumho N1 Class. All participating vehicles will be equipped with the “Ecsta S700,” which offers superior grip and stable handling at high speeds, and the “Ecsta W701,” which ensures excellent driving performance and stability on wet roads.
