A total of 209 companies with innovation and growth potential have been selected (competition ratio: 3:1), and these companies will offer 610 young participants practical, hands-on work experience opportunities.
Applications will be accepted online via the Youth Portal from May 18 to May 31, 2026. Unemployed young people aged 19 to 39 residing in Seoul are eligible to apply.
Those who are finally selected will be assigned to companies by industry and work for up to six months. Participants will receive a monthly wage of approximately 2.53 million won (before tax) and coverage under the four major social insurances. Job competency training and career management programs will also be provided.
To reduce mismatches between young people and companies and to enhance participants' understanding of job roles, the Seoul Metropolitan Government will operate a "Matching Week" from May 15 to May 22, 2026. Through both online and offline matching fairs and company tours, young people can explore companies and job roles in advance before applying, while companies can interact directly with the applicants to increase mutual understanding.
The selection process consists of a document review, competency assessment, and interview screening. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on June 26, 2026. After a preliminary training session in early July, participants will be assigned to each company.
