Hwasun County Temple Association to Host 'Healing Temple Music Concert' Blending Nature and Melody
April 25 at Seokcheonsa Temple in Hwasun
Featuring Singer Ali and More
The Hwasun County Temple Association announced on April 21 that it will hold a special cultural event, the ‘Healing Temple Music Concert,’ which harmonizes nature and music, at Seokcheonsa Temple in Hwasun, Jeollanam-do.
The upcoming concert, scheduled for the afternoon of April 25, will be a free performance open to the public.
The stage will feature a wide array of artists, including singer Ali, Sunflower, baritone Kim Dongkyu and Quattro Ruote, Jung Taechun, and Jung Suyeon from the traditional music group Eungabi, spanning various musical genres.
Organized by the Hwasun County Temple Association, this concert is designed to offer an opportunity for participants to enjoy the tranquility of a mountain temple, experiencing both nature and melody while finding relaxation and peace in daily life.
Venerable Jeunghyeon, President of the Hwasun County Temple Association and Head Monk of Ssangbongsa Temple, stated, "In this place where nature and music resonate together, I hope everyone can momentarily set aside the busyness of daily life and form precious connections that illuminate their hearts."
He added, "A temple is not the possession of any one individual but a place of virtue shared by the entire Buddhist community. I hope this temple music concert becomes an opportunity for the region and religion to come together and spread the values of sharing and coexistence."
