Taebaek City Recruiting Preliminary Tenants for City-Owned Rental Housing: "Strengthening Housing Stability for Citizens Without Homes"
Taebaek City, Gangwon Province (Mayor Lee Sangho), announced on April 21 that it is recruiting preliminary tenants for city-owned rental housing (Jangseong Mokryeon and Cheoram Yookseong 2nd complexes) in order to support housing stability for citizens without homes.
This recruitment aims to ease the housing cost burden for vulnerable groups and provide a stable living environment. Those selected as preliminary tenants will be able to move in sequentially according to their order when vacancies arise in the future.
The available units are at Jangseong Mokryeon Permanent Rental Apartment and Cheoram Yookseong 2nd National Rental Apartment. The rental conditions are set at a level lower than the market price, thereby reducing the financial burden for tenants.
Eligibility is limited to members of households without homes who reside in Taebaek City as of the recruitment announcement date and who meet the income and asset criteria. Candidates will be selected based on priority for each group, including basic livelihood security recipients, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and households with multiple children.
Applications can be submitted in the first round from May 11 to May 22, and in the second round from June 15 to June 26, by visiting the Architecture Division at Taebaek City Hall.
