View original imageKB Securities announced on the 21st that it had signed a "business partnership agreement for the operation of embedded financial business" with SK Planet at the SK Planet headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, on the 17th.
The signing ceremony was attended by Son Heejae, Head of Digital Business Group at KB Securities, Kim Gyo-su, Head of Business at SK Planet, Kwon Hyunjung, Head of Partnership Business Group, and other key officials from both companies, who discussed cooperation measures for advancing API (Application Programming Interface)-based services and promoting joint business initiatives.
Through this partnership, the two companies plan to connect KB Securities' financial APIs to SK Planet's lifestyle-oriented platform, thereby creating an environment where users can access financial services without having to switch to a separate application.
"Embedded finance" refers to integrating financial company services within non-financial platforms. Based on API integration, the two companies intend to expand cooperation in various areas, including providing platform-customized financial services, implementing user-centric investment services, and enhancing data-driven financial experiences.
