Tmap Revamps Home Screen with Map to Enhance Place Exploration
Immediate Map Access from the Home Screen
Double the Number of Automatically Displayed Locations
Tmap Mobility, the operator of Tmap, announced on April 21 that it has revamped the home screen by placing the map prominently at the forefront and categorizing around 20 core services by category.
With this update, users can now access the map directly from the Tmap home screen. By swiping down the "content area," where service icons are grouped, users can expand the map to cover the entire mobile screen. Previously, users had to enter individual services, such as navigation, to view the map.

Location icons displayed on the map have been unified in shape and color to distinguish business types and characteristics, and a location search bar has been added at the top of the map.
When a location is selected on the map, users can view detailed information such as reviews, business hours, parking availability, and the number of vehicles currently en route. Users can also access route guidance, save locations, share links, and enter navigation—all from a single screen.
Additionally, in this update, around 20 Tmap services have been categorized under sections such as "Tmap Recommendation," "Convenient Mobility," and "All Benefits" on the home screen, making it easier for users to find the services they need.
Jeon Changgeun, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Tmap Mobility, emphasized, "The map is a core interface that goes beyond route guidance to help users explore everyday places. We will continue to enhance map usability and develop Tmap into a service that delivers value beyond navigation."
