Yangju City to Recruit Households for the 2026 Home Renovation Project for People with Disabilities
Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province is implementing a “Home Renovation Project for People with Disabilities” to support the installation of convenience facilities and safety devices in the homes of low-income residents with disabilities.
This year, the city plans to allocate a budget of 15.2 million won to support four households. Each selected household will receive up to 3.8 million won for home renovation costs. The support includes lowering door thresholds, remodeling bathrooms, installing handrails, and building ramps. The renovations will be tailored to each household's needs and preferences.
Applicants must be registered persons with disabilities residing in Yangju City whose household income is less than or equal to the previous year’s average monthly income of urban workers’ households. However, those who have received similar home renovation support from the government or local authorities within the past three years are excluded from eligibility.
