'Address Change' KT Moving Service Surpasses 10 Million Households
The KT Moving Service, which allows users to change their address and mobile phone number at once, has surpassed 10 million households in usage. This milestone comes 26 years after the service launched the nation’s first mail address change offering in 2000.
KT Moving announced on April 20 that, as of April 7, the total number of households using the service had reached 10,003,354. KT Moving explained that the service represents a leading example of public-private collaboration, combining the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s address policy with private sector services to enhance convenience in people’s daily lives.
The KT Moving Service notifies multiple organizations and companies—including banks, credit card companies, insurance providers, and retail firms—of changes to a customer’s address and mobile phone number in one go. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety has partnered with KT Moving through a business agreement during the implementation and establishment of the road name address system, connecting the service to provide move-in guidance and support for address changes in everyday life.
