Baemin 'B Mart' Achieves Record-High Orders and Transaction Value in Q1, Grows into a Main Grocery Shopping Platform
Number of Orders Up 37% Year-on-Year in Q1
User Count Increases by 22%, Transaction Value by 36%

Baemin B Mart, the instant grocery delivery service of Baemin, has recorded its highest-ever quarterly number of transactions and transaction amount. This achievement is attributed to faster delivery—allowing customers to receive their orders immediately—and enhanced product competitiveness.
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on April 17 that B Mart achieved its highest-ever performance in key growth indicators such as the number of orders, user count, and transaction value in the first quarter of this year, based on quarterly records.
In the first quarter of this year, the number of B Mart orders increased by 37% compared to the same period last year. During the same period, the number of users rose by 22% and the transaction value grew by 36%. Compared to the previous quarter, the number of orders increased by 27% and the number of users by 21%, demonstrating rapid growth in the e-commerce market.
Throughout the first quarter of this year, the cumulative number of B Mart ordering users reached 8 million. The number of users who shopped via B Mart more than three times a month increased by 54% compared to the same period last year.
Baemin has continuously expanded its product categories, including fresh food, processed food, and daily necessities. Among these, sales of fresh food—frequently sought by consumers—increased by more than 50% year-on-year. It is analyzed that as B Mart has established itself as a platform for everyday grocery shopping, the related demand has expanded significantly.
B Mart is diversifying its product range to include private label (PB) products and beauty items, thereby expanding its user base. The number of 'Baemin Easy' PB product SKUs increased by 20% year-on-year, strengthening the product lineup.
Baemin Easy expanded its 990-won fixed-price product selection to include ready-to-eat foods, processed foods, and bottled water. By further extending its range to fresh foods such as seafood and meat, as well as daily necessities, its sales in the first quarter of this year increased by 98% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, since last year, promotions such as 'Lowest Price Challenge', 'Daily Special', and 'Jabsan Deal' have significantly reduced psychological price barriers. Furthermore, Baemin’s subscription service, 'Baemin Club', provides subscribers with an unlimited 10% discount coupon at all times.
