Have you heard of the 'Eobok Bus'?
BNK Busan Bank announced that it had signed a business agreement to promote the 'Eobok Bus Project' on the 16th at the Glad Yeouido Hotel in Seoul.
The 'Eobok Bus Project' is an initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for fishermen in island and fishing village areas by providing medical, daily life, and administrative services. The program includes telemedicine, hairdressing and beauty services, bathing services, and the operation of mobile markets, offering close-to-daily-life support.
BNK Busan Bank is holding a business agreement ceremony on the 16th at the Glad Yeouido Hotel in Seoul to promote the "Eobok Bus Project."
View original imageThe Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the Foundation for Large, Small, and Medium Business, Agriculture, and Fisheries Cooperation, the Suhyup Foundation, Suhyup Bank, Busan Port Authority, Korea Fisheries Infrastructure Agency, Korea Maritime Institute, and the Korea Coastal Fishermen’s Central Association participated in this agreement. The organizations established a cooperative system for improving fishermen’s welfare and developing local communities.
Shin Donghun, Head of the Metropolitan Business Group at BNK Busan Bank, stated, “We hope this will be an opportunity not only to provide simple support for fishermen but also to resolve various inconveniences in their daily lives and revitalize local communities. We will continue to pursue practical social contribution projects that reflect the difficulties faced in the field.”
