Along with the iF Design Award and the IDEA Design Award, it is considered one of the world's top three design awards. The winning entries are selected through a comprehensive evaluation by more than 40 international design experts, based on criteria such as aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and innovation.
The award-winning products also received main prizes at the iF Design Award in March 2026, achieving double honors for Coway as the company continues to win at major global design competitions this year.
Among the winners, Coway's home medical device brand, "Therasol," was recognized for its urinary incontinence treatment device, "Therasol U." This device, approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, helps treat urinary incontinence through repeated low-frequency stimulation, which contracts and relaxes the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles. It features an ergonomic design that ensures a close fit for various body types and allows for simultaneous storage and charging after use with a dedicated stand.
The two "Square Fit Air Purifiers" (38㎡ and 82㎡ models) offer compact sizes compared to other products in the same class, enhancing both purification performance and space efficiency. An intuitive control panel improves user convenience, while the top section, where clean air is released, uses an anti-static material to minimize dust accumulation. The structure, which allows for easy disassembly and washing, was also praised for making maintenance more convenient.
Other products that received main prizes include the "Lulu Slimic Bidet," the "Inverter Dehumidifier 23L," and the "Heatib Warm Air Air Purifier."
