Kim Young-rok, who lost to Min Hyeong-bae in the Democratic Party primary for the unified special mayor of Jeonnam·Gwangju, has refused to accept the result and has filed for a retrial.
On April 15, Kim's camp requested a retrial from the party headquarters, citing suspicions of a system malfunction during the primary process.
