Galaxia Moneytree Launches Prepaid Card "TripMoney" for Foreign Travelers
Galaxia Moneytree announced on April 15 that it has launched "TripMoney," a prepaid payment card designed for short-term foreign travelers.
TripMoney is a prepaid payment service designed with the needs of foreigners staying in Korea for a short period in mind. It features a simple issuance process and the convenience of being available for use immediately after arrival. Unlike traditional registered prepaid cards that require personal identification such as passport verification, TripMoney can be issued anonymously, reducing concerns about personal information leakage.
The TripMoney card can currently be issued through various online and offline channels partnered with Galaxia Moneytree, both domestically and internationally. In the convenience store sector, a new issuance model has been introduced, allowing customers to receive cards through Hyosung TNS ATMs installed at GS25 convenience stores.
TripMoney will continue to enhance value-added services useful for both tourism and daily life, such as weather and location-based information. The company plans to expand partnerships and marketing collaborations, focusing on popular tourist attractions and industrial complexes with high foreign demand, while sequentially introducing recharge events and various benefits.
