Pop-Up Event at Lotte World Mall Jamsil from April 10 to 19
Weekday and Weekend Running Sessions... “Cherry Blossom Run” at Seokchon Lake Also Planned
Lotte Department Store will launch a “Running Boot Camp” pop-up store from April 10 to April 19 on the first floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, aiming to target the spring running demand.
The “Running Boot Camp” is a specialized event that introduces new products from various running brands with special offers. It is designed to reflect the demand centered around the “Jamsil Running Belt,” which connects Seokchon Lake and Olympic Park. The event is notable for its inclusive structure, allowing everyone from beginners to experienced runners to participate. In fact, at the Jamsil branch last March, sales at running-focused stores such as On Running, Hoka, and Nike Rise increased by more than 40%, demonstrating significant interest.
The event will feature a wide range of brands offering discounts on running shoes, apparel, and accessories. Brands such as Merrell, Descente, and SOW will sell road and trail running shoes at discounts of up to 50%. Oakley, Cielle, 100 Percent, Negative Split Club, and EOU will offer running apparel and accessories at discounts of up to 30%. In addition, Shokz will offer up to 15% off its popular products “OpenDot” and “OpenRun,” and will also unveil its new “OpenFit Pro” offline for the first time.
Customized services will also be available. At the central “Marking Zone” of the pop-up store, visitors can participate in a free customization event, adding 8-bit game-themed characters and phrases to T-shirts and other items. Additionally, customers who purchase products from Descente or SOW will receive a complimentary waterproof coating service.
Community programs that allow participants to experience running firsthand are also drawing attention. On weekdays, evening running sessions for office workers will be held. On April 13, the “Merrell City Run” will take place, followed by the “Merrell Trail Run” on April 15. On the weekend, a “Cherry Blossom Running” program will be held on April 19, featuring a run around Seokchon Lake and adding a seasonal touch.
There are also various promotions for customers. Those who make purchases above a certain amount will receive L.Point rewards and limited-edition running T-shirts. Customers who spend over 500,000 won will be given tickets and kits to participate in the “Style Run” event. Additionally, by participating in a social media event, shoppers can win beverage vouchers and sports accessories.
