Political, Administrative, and Academic Leaders Join Policy Advisory Group
Regional Figures Including Kim Yoonsu and Jang Manchae Participate
Key figures from the political, administrative, and academic sectors, including Park Ji-won, Democratic Party member of the National Assembly, Lee Kwang-jae, former Governor of Gangwon Province, and Sung Kyung-ryung, former Chairman of the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development, participated in the ‘Min Sim Camp’, the campaign office for Min Hyung-bae, Democratic Party lawmaker (Gwangsan-gu Eul, Gwangju) and candidate in the integrated special mayoral primary for Jeonnam and Gwangju.

View original imageOn March 24, Min Sim Camp announced that Assemblyman Park Ji-won would serve as the head of Min's supporters’ association. In addition, Lee Kwang-jae, former Governor of Gangwon Province; Sung Kyung-ryung, the first Chairman of the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development under the Roh Moo-hyun administration; Lee Jung-ok, former Minister of Gender Equality and Family; Kim Soon-eun, former Chairperson of the Presidential Committee on Autonomy and Decentralization; and Song Kyung-yong, Chairman of the Korea Labor Foundation, have agreed to join the policy advisory group.
Min Sim Camp described these figures as individuals with experience in designing national policy in both central politics and government. With experts who have worked across both legislation and administration joining the policy advisory group, the camp said its goal is to form a “policy dream team” equipped with the capabilities to design and implement policy.
Regional academic and education leaders have also joined. Kim Yoon-su, former President of Chonnam National University, and Jang Man-chae, former Superintendent of Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, are participating.

Assemblyman Min stated, “The integrated special city of Jeonnam and Gwangju must be completed with feasible policies,” adding, “We will continue to recruit top-level professionals from each field and focus on designing practical and actionable policies.”
