The General Affairs Committee, chaired by Cho Myungsun, paid on-site visits to the Hwasun Sapyeong Laundry and the Hwasun County Life Culture Center. At the Hwasun Sapyeong Laundry, the committee members received a report on its current operations and inspected the facilities.
The committee members requested, "As the Hwasun Sapyeong Laundry is a representative community-centered welfare policy of Hwasun County with high satisfaction among residents, please actively seek necessary solutions such as increasing operational staff, so that it can be run stably throughout the year."
They also added, "Since it has been selected as an exemplary case by the Kangwon Land Social Contribution Foundation and is receiving support, please make efforts to ensure that this support continues in the future."
Next, during their visit to the Hwasun County Life Culture Center, the committee members received a report on the operation of the facilities and programs. They requested, "Please coordinate the programs to avoid overlap or duplication with those currently operated by the residents' association and others, and strive to develop differentiated programs that encourage participation from young people as well."
The Industry and Construction Committee, chaired by Cho Saehyun, visited the Hwasun County Key Disinfection Facility and the site of the Neungju Yeongbyeokjeong Park Golf Course construction project.
At the Hwasun County Key Disinfection Facility, the committee members received a briefing on the facility overview and operations, and conducted an inspection of the site.
The committee members emphasized, "Please ensure thorough quarantine and disinfection of vehicles entering livestock facilities to prevent damage to livestock farms from animal infectious diseases."
The Hwasun County Key Disinfection Facility is located at 595-3, Daji-ri, Hwasun-eup, and conducts 24-hour year-round quarantine and control of vehicles entering livestock facilities in order to prevent disaster-level animal infectious diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease (FMD), avian influenza (AI), and African swine fever (ASF).
Subsequently, at the site of the Neungju Yeongbyeokjeong Park Golf Course construction project, the committee members received an update on the project and inspected the site. They requested, "Since the access road leading into the park golf course is narrow and may cause traffic congestion in the future, please consider expanding the access road and carry out the construction carefully so that there will be no inconvenience for users."
The Neungju Yeongbyeokjeong Park Golf Course construction project aims to build an 18-hole park golf course, with construction scheduled to begin in April and completion expected in December.
