April 4 at 2:00 p.m.
Special Stage at Namji Canola Flower Complex
Changnyeong County in South Gyeongsang Province will host the "National Singing Contest: Changnyeong Edition," the nation's leading public participation program, on April 4 at 2:00 p.m. on the special stage at the Namji Canola Flower Complex.
For the main event recording, invited singers including Park Seojin, Kim Hyeyeon, Choonkil, Miss Kim, and Nayoung will perform. The contest is expected to offer a stage filled with the spirit of spring, as the songs and talents of local residents blend with the picturesque scenery of the Nakdong River, where canola flowers and cherry blossoms are in full bloom during spring at the Namji Canola Flower Complex.
Applications to participate can be submitted from March 16 to March 31 by visiting the Public Relations Team of the Planning and Budget Office at the county office, the general affairs teams at town or township offices, or via email.
The preliminary round will take place on April 2 at the Small Theater of the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center. Those who pass the preliminaries will showcase their singing, special talents, and various performances on the main stage.
A county official stated, "Since this is the first time in eight years that the National Singing Contest: Changnyeong Edition is being held, it will be a particularly meaningful event for local residents. We hope that many people will come and enjoy the spring atmosphere and excitement of Changnyeong, together with the Changnyeong Nakdonggang Canola Flower Festival, Korea's representative spring festival."
